# D&V Philippines Team Building 2019: Nurturing Culture Champs

To further its advocacy of building the company culture, employees of D&V Philippines participated in the company-wide Team Building activity held last April 27, dubbed with the theme #OneDVPh held at the Power Mac Center Spotlight, Circuit Makati.

Spearheaded by the People Experience Team, the activity aimed to nurture the relationships between the employees, strengthen teamwork between groups and foster friendships across everyone under D&V Philippines.

**Bridging links inside D&V Philippines**

Teams were respectively grouped and identified through different color codes. For everyone to see how working together really works, they were given tasks involving team management, collaboration, and coordination, which highlighted the purpose of the event. These challenges put their leadership skills and team handling practices into the test and eventually bridged different personalities together to accomplish duties as a group. Playworks facilitated the team building activities and helped the People Experience group in managing the event. The facilitators also shared some insightful discussions after every activity to accent the important values that the event was promoting such as creativity, leadership, grace under pressure, and teamwork in the workplace.

Cash prizes, together with drawstring bags and tumblers, were given to all teams. After a day of challenges, the White Team emerged as the champions and had the opportunity to punish the losing teams through the Chubby Bunny challenge.

Capping off the whole-day activity, D&V Philippines’ CEO Stefan Vermeulen briefly gave his closing remarks and expressed his thanks for making the team building successful. Attendees also had the chance to share their realizations from the event, bringing the spirit of camaraderie and teamwork to the workplace anew.
